Life of Trade Journal View

Once a trade is in the Journal, its colors and icons tell you where it stands without opening anything.

Life Of The Trade

“Life of Trade” View in the Journal offers another way to view your trading activity and results.

Trades are grouped by Symbol, making it easier to follow the trade from Open-Adjust-Close – along with any Assigning/Exercising of the underlying stock.

This view further allows you to sort by Account, Symbol, etc for more targeted analysis.

Tab color shows the account a trade is from. A yellow bar means the trade needs reconciling (hollow, unconnected L.O.T. circles). Closed trades show connected solid circles with a blue bar; green tabs mark profit, red mark loss. An option trade that changed the underlying at expiration shows connections with hollow circles until the stock is sold, when the tab updates to profit/loss.
